Logging Workflow out-of-the-box

Updated on July 1st, 2023

Curator Logger is great for anyone who needs to log content quickly and accurately.

Access extensive metadata thesauruses and different workspaces for different vocabulary.

Customers transform the way they work with Curator Logger - some create a log up to every 10 seconds.

The Logging functionality module allows you to enhance how you tag assets by personalizing your metadata. You’ll be able to do the following:

  • Load an asset or a collection of assets into the Curator Logger.
  • Review video and audio content through Curator’s advanced video player.
  • Mark inpoints, outpoints, and bookmarks to describe regions of interest.
  • Create timecode-accurate logs against video and audio timelines.
  • Use controlled vocabulary, domain-specific metadata to describe content.
  • When coupled with a connector to an automated data source you can review logs created by automated tools, for example, AI services, QC tools and Curator’s closed caption extraction service.
  • Combined with Curator’s Edit and Publish Functionality Module, you’ll see logged clips appearing as live markers on asset timelines in Adobe Premiere Pro. For Media Composer editors you can export locators from Curator in an AAF which you can then use during your edit.
