Edit and Publish - Mac path swap (Curator 3.0 Arrival/ Edit and Publish 1.4.2.0)

With Curator 3.0 Arrival and Edit and Publish Module 1.4.2.0 there is a new workflow called Spawn - Convert Premiere Project Paths; this workflow will call a MediaStore called 'AME-EXPORT-CONVERT-PATHS' and both of these will be added to Curator by default when importing the Edit and Publish Module 1.4.2.0. This Workflow and MediaStore are required for Mac Clients as the SMB paths will need to converted to UNC paths or equivalent when carrying out Remote Conforms.

Step 1)

Import the Edit and Publish Module 1.4.2.0, this can be done via the Process Engine Monitor Webpage using the Modules tab.

Step 2)

Confirm that 'AME-EXPORT-CONVERT-PATHS' MediaStore has been added to the MediaStores tab in the Process Engine Monitor Webpage.

Step 3)

Open the 'AME-EXPORT-CONVERT-PATHS' MediaStore and add a new key called 'PathPrefixSwap' the value for this key will be Mac path conversion, an example will be '/volumes/ipv/Curator,S:\Curator'.

(The Mac path should be input followed by the Windows path, we will only need add the parts of the path which need to be swapped prior to them being in the same location.)

Step 4)

Find the Export MediaStores in Process Engine Monitor Webpage MediaStore tab, once you have located the MediaStore add a new key 'ConversionMediaStore' and set the value to be 'AME-EXPORT-CONVERT-PATHS'

See below MediaStore configuration:
