Importing assets from Curator into your Adobe project as layers

Once you have a project opened or have saved a local Photoshop or Illustrator file to Curator you can then start to import Curator image assets into your Adobe Project (.psd or .ai) as layers. Importing and layering assets works similarly as if you were importing them from a folder on your system, or folder on your drive or network location. Instead, your importing and layering them from Curator, not a system folder.

How to import an image asset in Curator into your Curator Project as a layer

With the Adobe project open in your Adobe software:

  1. Search for and select the image asset(s) you wish to layer
  2. Select ‘Place’ in the Adobe panel menu

  3. The Curator image (asset) will have now imported as a layer in your open Curator Adobe project (.psd or .ai)
