Applications this article relates to:
Ensure files on your system, camera card or drive from one source are hosted in Curator for you to access and either Open a project or Importing assets from Curator into your Adobe project as layers immediately all within the Adobe panel.
This guide will show you how to upload files to Curator within the Adobe Panel.
Select Media

Select ‘Upload’ in the Adobe panel menu.

Drag and drop files/folders/camera cards into the drop area or browse for files.

You are asked to confirm the files submitted for ingest.
- You are able to deselect one/many files to proceed with
- You are able to drag and drop or browse for more files/folders/camera cards to submit for ingest if you wish to do so, at this stage

When ready, select ‘Next’.
Add name
- The filename will remain the same in the database and when becoming a Curator Asset. If you’d like the asset name to be different, you have the opportunity to change the name.
- When ready, select ‘Next’.
Add Metadata

For more information on what a metadata view is, please review Asset metadata explained.
The metadata fields presented to you are configured by your lead or system administrator. Please contact them if you wish for them to be revised/changed.
- Submit data into your Metadata and mandatory Metadata fields.
- When ready, select ‘Next’.
Confirm
- Review the files submitted from the location/source they are being ingested from.
- When ready, select ‘Confirm'.
- Once the ingest begins, you are able to queue and ingest more files.
Activity
Review the progress of your file(s) ingesting into Curator from the Adobe Panel menu.
