Learn here on how to open a Adobe project (.psd or .ai) from the Adobe panel to work with in your Adobe software

How do I open a project

  1. Locate and select the Project
  2. Right click the .psd or .ai file,or select the Open menu.
    ps open as duplicate.png

Select either:
1. Check Out - Imports the .psd or .ai file and opens in your Adobe software. Whilst the project is open, the file is locked in Curator ensuring no-one else can use the version of the file you are editing allowing the opportunity for you to save a later version back to Curator
2. Open as a duplicate - Imports the .psd or .ai file and opens in your Adobe software. Whilst the project is open, the file is not locked in Curator. Therefore, should you want to save the version you are working on back to Curator, then this would be an alternative version being saved in Curator, from a duplicated file imported.

  1. Check the Adobe Project file being opened as well as the temporary location for the file.
    1. Check Out - Select ‘Check Out'. Otherwise, cancel.
      ps check out process 1.png

b. Open and duplicate - Select ‘Open Asset’. Otherwise, cancel.
