Batch export Sequences from Premiere Pro to Curator (Remote conform)

Learn here how to export a batch of edited sequences from Premiere Pro to Curator much in the same way as you would usually export to a location accessible on your system (local export). Your export settings will have previously been configured by your system administrator. Your system administrator will also ensure that Adobe Media Encoder is installed on your system

For Review and Approve: Your system administrator must have set up, configured and enabled Review and Approve in Curator.

Guidance

  • The Adobe panel allows users to export (remote conform) to Curator from Premiere Pro
  • The Adobe panel does not allow users to export (remote conform) to Curator from After Effects. To achieve export back to Curator from After Effects, users are asked to export locally and How to ingest the exported asset.
  • Curator supports .mogrt files.
  • .mogrt files cannot be exported back to Curator via the Adobe Panel. Users must export locally and then ingest into Curator (How to ingest). Your system administrator must ensure that ingest is configured to support .mogrt files.

How to Batch export sequences from Premiere Pro to Curator?

  1. Select the sequences in your Premiere Pro project

  2. Select ‘Export’ in the Adobe panel menu

  3. You are presented with two options.

    1. Basic
      1. To export each sequence to the same destination, export folder (for review and approve) and without any change to the output name
    2. Advanced
      1. To assign each sequence in the batch of exports with a separate destination, export folder (for review and approve) and output name.

Basic. Without Review and approve

  • Destination - Review the sequences submitted and select a destination (export setting) to apply to all of the sequences submitted

Basic. With Review and approve

  • Destination - Review the sequences submitted and select the Destination labeled and assigned for Review and Approve
  • *Export Folder *- Select which ‘Review and Approve’ folder to export to

Advanced. Without Review and approve

  • Review the sequences submitted and
    • Destination - Select a destination (export setting) to apply to each sequence submitted.
    • Output name - Review and revise the output name of each sequence, if you wish

Advanced. With Review and approve

  • Review the sequences submitted and
    • Destination - Select a destination (export setting) to apply to each sequence submitted. Selecting any sequence with the Destination labeled and assigned for Review and Approve' will ask for an Export Location to be assigned
    • Output name - Review and revise the output name of each sequence, if you wish
    • Export Location - Select which ‘Review and Approve’ folder to export to for each sequence, if the assigned ‘Review and Approve’ destination is selected

  1. Select ‘Next’. Otherwise, ‘Cancel’

  2. Input your Metadata as pre-defined and requested

  2. Ensure ‘Remote Conform’ is selected. Select ‘Export’. Otherwise, Cancel.

  3. Monitor the progress of your Export in the activity log in the Adobe Panel. You’ll be notified when the Export is complete in the panel display

  4. Your Exported assets can be located in Clip Link
