This section will walk you through how to ensure a remote conform exported sequence(s) from Adobe Premiere Pro is enabled for Review and Approve, followed by how a user can review and/or approve an asset in Curator. Only assets that have been exported from Premiere Pro can be enabled for the Curator Review and Approve process.

Your system administrator must have set up, configured and enabled Review and Approve in Curator.

What is the Review and Approve process in summary?

Create a Review and Approve

  1. Export a Sequence from Premiere Pro to Curator (Remote conform) or Batch export Sequences from Premiere Pro to Curator (Remote conform) to a particular destination setup for Review and Approve.
  2. The sequence will export to a specific folder(s) that specific users have permission to access

**Review and approve an asset(s) **

  1. Specific users configured to access the folder being notified to review and approve will receive an email advising there is a new asset(s) in Curator ready to review and approve. A hyperlink to the asset is provided in the email
  2. The reviewer and approver opens the asset(s) in Logger (Logging explained) and can set the status review status of the asset and provide comments and information to the asset
  3. The reviewer and approver notifies the editor of the review and status and comments with a Curator URL (Share an asset, folder or collection)
  4. The Editor accesses the asset via the Curator URL and reviews the status and comments.
