This section will walk you through how to review and approve an asset that has been exported and assigned for Review and Approve from Premiere Pro to a designated folder.

Assets must be exported or batch exported in Premiere Pro via the Review and Approve process to enable the Asset to be assigned for Review and Approve to Curator.

For Review and Approve: Your system administrator must have set up, configured and enabled Review and Approve in Curator: (Configuring Review and Approve)

How do I review and approve an asset(s)

Reviewers of the Premiere Pro exported asset will receive an email notifying them that an asset (export) is ready to review. The email will derive from a template designed by your team and contain a direct URL link to the asset. See below for an example:

  1. Select the asset URL in the email notification
  2. The asset will open in Curator Logger.
  3. Select the dropdown menu currently assigned to ‘Logging View’ and change this to the ‘Review’ view labeled and assigned. Example: ‘For Review’:

  1. The logging state will now change to your team's bespoke review and approve submission details, including:
    1. The design of notes to submit (Example: Edit Notes, Compliance, Comments)
    2. The ‘Set status’ (Example: Approved, Ready for Review, Rejected)
  2. Submit notes and / or change the status

  1. Select Save.
  2. Find the asset in Curator.
  3. Create an internal hyperlink.
  4. Share the link with the editor, advising the asset has been reviewed or approved and contains comments.
