Find out how to log notes and metadata to an ordered set of sub-clips or bookmarks.

Log an asset

Upon opening one parent asset with multiple sub-clips already created, Logger will list the sub-clips ready for you to log. You can open multiple assets/parent assets in preparation to log.

Here is an example of one asset with 6 sub-clips created ready to log as seen in the Sub-Clips tab:

  1. Double-click a sub-clip in the Sub-Clips view.

  2. The Asset viewer will display the in and out point of the clip selected.

  3. The Logging area (tab) will open.

  4. From here, you can log information and a description of the clipmark.

  5. Select Save.

  6. In the Sub-Clips tab, with list view selected, you will see the clip updated with the notes and metadata submitted and saved.
    NOTE: You may need to enable visibility of certain columns via the Columns drop-down in order to view these.
