Find out how to log notes and metadata to an ordered set of sub-clips or bookmarks.
Log an asset
Upon opening one parent asset with multiple sub-clips already created, Logger will list the sub-clips ready for you to log. You can open multiple assets/parent assets in preparation to log.
Here is an example of one asset with 6 sub-clips created ready to log as seen in the Sub-Clips tab:
-
Double-click a sub-clip in the Sub-Clips view.
-
The Asset viewer will display the in and out point of the clip selected.
-
The Logging area (tab) will open.
-
From here, you can log information and a description of the clipmark.
-
Select Save.
-
In the Sub-Clips tab, with list view selected, you will see the clip updated with the notes and metadata submitted and saved.
NOTE: You may need to enable visibility of certain columns via the Columns drop-down in order to view these.
