Find out how to log notes and metadata to an ordered set of sub-clips or bookmarks.

Log an asset

Upon opening one parent asset with multiple sub-clips already created, Logger will list the sub-clips ready for you to log. You can open multiple assets/parent assets in preparation to log.

Here is an example of one asset with 16 sub-clips created ready to log as seen on the Clipmarks tab:

  1. Double-click a sub-clip in the Clipmarks list view.
  2. The Asset viewer will display the in and out point of the clip selected.
  3. The Logging area (tab) will open.
  4. Log information and a description of the clipmark.

  1. Select Save.
  2. In the Clipmarks tab, you will see the clip updated with the notes and metadata just submitted and saved.
