If you have a Version open from Curator (Open a project) - You might want to save multiple versions to Curator (for version logging). This process saves a new version of the .psd or .ai file back to Curator thus not updating the version you originally opened. There would now be two files in Curator, an updated and edited version, and the version not edited.
If you have begun your project locally and want to save to Curator, later. - In either Photoshop or Illustrator, you are able to at any stage to save your local project to Curator and continue updating the session in Curator.
Create a project

With the Adobe project open in your Adobe software, open the Collections and Productions panel in the Curator for Adobe panel.

Select ‘Create project’

Provide a name for the Curator project:

Provide Metadata for the project:

Confirm your details and select ‘Save’. Otherwise, ‘Cancel’
- If you have begun your project locally - There is no Curator project open at the moment. Therefore, this project will be new to Curator and you can check this project out to ensure no other user can open your project whilst your working on the project.
