Review the parent asset's timeline on an already saved sub-clip, change mark in and out points and create a new sub-clip multiple times from the same timeline.

You are also able to change the sub-clip to a bookmark.

Create a new sub-clip from an existing sub-clip

  1. Open your sub-clip from the Asset pane (Searching and viewing assets) or the Asset viewer.
  2. The sub-clip will open and reveal the current marked in and out points.
  3. The selection area can be altered by adjusting this segment in the following ways:
  • Dragging and dropping from the centre of the selection area to different points in the video allows you to move the selection area to a different point in the video.
  • The arrows to the left and right of the selection area can be dragged to the left or right to extend or shorten the area of the selection.
  1. The Create Sub-Clip option will change to Save Changes:

  3. Selecting Create new will create an additional sub-clip in the asset library, leaving the original sub-clip unchanged. This is reflected in all the locations the sub-clip is referenced in.
