Learn how to amend the mark in and mark out points as well as duration of a sub-clip that already exists.
You are also able to change the sub-clip to a bookmark.
Editing a sub-clip
- Open your sub-clip from the asset pane (Searching and viewing assets) or in the Asset viewer.
- The sub-clip will open and reveal the current marked in and marked out points.
- The selection area can be altered by adjusting this segment in the following ways:
- Dragging and dropping from the centre of the selection area to different points in the video allows you to move the selection area to a different point in the video.
- The arrows to the left and right of the selection area can be dragged to the left or right to extend or shorten the area of the selection.
- While you adjust, a grey marker shows the saved position. To return the selection to its saved position before you save, right-click the bar and select Undo.

The Create Sub-Clip option will change to Save Changes:

Selecting Save Changes will immediately amend the sub-clip in the asset library and is reflected in all the locations the sub-clip is referenced in.
