Learn how to amend the mark in and mark out points as well as duration of a sub-clip that already exists.

You are also able to change the sub-clip to a bookmark.

Editing a sub-clip

  1. Open your sub-clip from the asset pane (Searching and viewing assets) or in the Asset viewer.
  2. The sub-clip will open and reveal the current marked in and marked out points.
  3. The selection area can be altered by adjusting this segment in the following ways:
  • Dragging and dropping from the centre of the selection area to different points in the video allows you to move the selection area to a different point in the video.
  • The arrows to the left and right of the selection area can be dragged to the left or right to extend or shorten the area of the selection.
  1. The Create Sub-Clip option will change to Save Changes:

  2. Selecting Save Changes will immediately amend the sub-clip in the asset library and is reflected in all the locations the sub-clip is referenced in.
