Markers reference important points in an asset and help editors position and arrange clips. You can use a marker to identify an important point in an asset, in a sequence or sub-clip. Markers are for reference only and do not alter the video. When Creating sub-clips or Bookmarks in Logging mode in Curator whilst Logging an asset with any notes and metadata, the sub-clips, bookmarks and accompanying notes will reference on the premiere pro timeline after importing the asset from Curator (How to import assets into an Adobe Project).

Live and instant updates on a timeline

Sub-clips, bookmarks or edit (logging) notes changed in a parent asset in Curator whilst, at the same time, the same parent asset is being used in Premiere Pro - the additions and changes are live and instant. The Live feature only works with main parent assets. To enable live markers in preferences please refer to your import preferences.

  • Any sub-clips, bookmarks, notes or comments changed in a premiere pro timeline for an asset imported from Curator, will not reflect the change/addition in Curator.
