Adobe projects and productions in Adobe

Prev Next

For Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro:

Users are able to create Adobe Projects in Curator. Adobe Projects for After Effects and Premiere Pro in Curator are called ‘Productions’. Users are able to create a Production in Clip Link as well as the Adobe Panel.

For Adobe Audition:

Adobe Audition uses multitrack session files (.sesx) rather than traditional project files. These sessions can be saved as Productions, similar to Premiere Pro and After Effects.

When an Audition Production is created, Curator:

  • Bundles the selected .sesx session file

  • Collects and manages all audio files referenced by the session

  • Packages them into a single .sesx.zip file

This allows users to store, reopen, and manage Audition sessions and their associated audio files reliably within Curator.

For Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop:

Since .psd (Photoshop) and .ai (Illustrator) files encapsulate all assets within layers, Curator does not create a separate project structure for them. However, when accessed through the Curator for Adobe Panel, these files are recognized as native Adobe projects, allowing for seamless editing within their respective applications.
