Submitting a term to a search that applies to all assets stored in Curator. You are able to use search operators in the Quick Search bar to refine your asset search accordingly.

For example; you want to search for assets that are titled or include metadata of either of the following:

Operator Example description header
AND Only assets that have both escalator and down in the title or metadata, will be returned. escalator AND down
OR Only assets that have either escalator or down in the title or metadata, will be returned. escalator OR down
NOT Only assets that have escalator but not down in the title or metadata, will be returned. escalator NOT down
“ “ (speech marks) Only assets that have the the uninterrupted and separated text (string) Extreme Sports in full in the title or metadata, will be returned. ”extreme sports”
-(negative) Only assets that relate to all Extreme Sports but not Rock Climbing in the title or metadata ”Extreme Sport” AND -”Rock Climbing”
* (wildcard) only assets that contain the text ‘educat’ in the word so that i can see which assets contain the words education, educator, educational and educating in the title or metadata educat*
