Query search lets you build one or more metadata queries to refine and customize your asset search. You can group commands and search operators to get highly specific results.
For example, you could search for assets that:
Belong to the Sports genre
Are not of the DSLR Camera type
Were created between 11-12-2023 11:13:45 and 11-15-2023 11:13:45

How to query search with one term
Beside the quick search bar - select the Advanced Search icon:
Select Add Term.
Select a Metadata name (term) to search - the query builder will then create a template for you to customize.
Select an operator for your query.
Select and filter your value (if pre-determined). Or enter your value into the text field.
Select the search icon.
The results that appear in the asset pane will be those that match the advanced search query you have created together with any additional filters.
How to query search with multiple terms
Once you have customized your query search with one term, select Add term again.
Customize the additional term(s).
Choose an operator (rule) to use for the two terms you have customised (And/Or).
Select the search icon.
The results that appear in the asset pane will be those that match the advanced search query of the terms you have created together with any additional filters.
Grouping queries
You are able to create as many terms as you wish and group them together to establish an operator (rule) between queries or groups of queries.
Select Add Group as many times as you wish to create multiple groups.
Select Add term in each group to customize terms in each group.
Amend the operator (rule) in each group that contains multiple queries.
Amend the operator (rule) for the group of groups collectively.

Moving a term
Select the action icon next to a term and drag to reorder the terms, or move from one group to another.
NOTE: Reordering terms may alter the results of your advanced search.

Removing a term
Select the remove term icon next to a term to remove the term from the Advance Search you’ve built.
