"Retrieve the proxy" is a default plugin option available as part of the 'Send To Destination' plugin that comes standard with Curator. While the Mediastore requires configuration to meet specific requirements, the "Retrieve the proxy" plugin allows users to send the Proxy files of an asset stored in asset metadata to a specified storage location, as long as the Curator Services have access to the files.
By default, the Mediastore used with this option is 'DELIVER-PROXY' which can be modified to fit business needs. This option can also serve as a template for other Proxy delivery requirements.
