The steps to restart an ingest process may vary depending on how far the previous ingest process progressed and the ingest method used.
For Curator Connect:

If no assets have been created and the files remain in their original locations, an administrator can restart the relevant 'Plug-in - Curator Connect' process within the Process Engine.

If assets have been created or the files have been moved from their original locations, consider removing any created assets from Curator and going through the Curator Connect ingest process.
For an XChange Watchfolder Ingest:

If the files are still in the watchfolder and no assets have been created, temporarily remove the files from the watchfolder and then re-drop them into the folder to initiate a new ingest.

If the files are still in the watchfolder but assets have been created, remove the assets from Curator and then, as in the previous step, replace the files in the watchfolder.

If the files are no longer in the watchfolder but assets have been created, remove the created assets from Curator and re-drop the original files into the watchfolder. This same approach applies if no assets have been created.
