Curator version supported from this article: 3.0
A Curator desktop is a workspace for managing assets. You can set up desktops in whatever way best supports your workflow, and you can open as many as you need. This makes it easy to manage multiple tasks at once, such as:
Running different searches
Opening different asset player views
Working with different assets to create sub-clips
Viewing or editing different sets of metadata
Adding a desktop
Desktops are opened as tabs, and each new desktop appears in its own tab. There are two ways to open a new desktop:
a. Select a folder or asset from the asset pane. This will automatically open it in a new desktop so you don’t lose your current search or setup. You can keep searches and asset players open at the same time.
b. Click the new tab icon:
Closing a desktop
Select the x icon on a tab to immediately close that desktop.
Changing between desktops
If you have multiple desktops open, simply click on a tab to switch to the corresponding desktop.
