A Bookmark (marker) is a particular point of reference (single time code) moment of a media asset that you can itemise and title separately to the main (parent) asset in preparation for compiling notes and metadata to specific timecode points in the asset to act as a reference for editors in post-production, project collaborators or even notes during a live stream.
Create a new bookmark

Open a video, audio, or sub-clip asset.

In the Asset viewer and using the Player controls, select the mark bookmark icon at a point on the timeline you wish to reference:

Select Create bookmark.
- Your Bookmark will be created.
- An on-screen notification will display within seconds.
- You can review bookmarks in the Child assets of the open asset section of the Asset viewer, or search for the bookmark as described in Searching.
