How do I check in a Production?
- With the Adobe project checked out in your Adobe software, select the menu of the Production in the Curator for Adobe panel
- The ‘Check in Production’ tool opens
- Enable or Disable disconnect (Connecting assets to a project) - If your assets are disconnected, then you will need to reconnect your assets the next time you 'Open (check out) an Adobe project (production).
- The advantage to this is ensuring the speed at which the production opens next time will be fast as no assets will be connected at the time. You can always connect assets to a project after you Open (check out) an Adobe project (production).
- Connecting assets to a Production after checkout is advantageous. IPV encourage you to connect only the assets required for the edit in the project. And, let Curator be your media manager. The assets are still there in Curator to see and manage. Don’t worry. By connecting so many assets in one project will consume connection time and your connectivity. Working with Adobe
- Select either ‘Check in’ or ‘Cancel’
- Check in - The up-to-date and current Adobe project (.prproj or .aep) will be uploaded to the Curator Production as a new version. You are able to submit version notes to the project file and enable/disable the disconnection of all assets making loading again (check out) faster.

c. Cancel - Any changes made to the Adobe project since being checked out will not be saved to the Adobe project (.prproj or .aep) in Curator upon being checked-in.
