From the panel, you can: - Search for assets and collections - Browse folder structures - Preview assets - Import assets directly into DaVinci Resolve This article explains how to launch the Curator for DaVinci Resolve panel in DaVinci Resolve. To install the panel, see [How to install Curator for DaVinci Resolve](/docs/how-to-install-curator-for-davinci-resolve). --- #### Launching the panel After installation: 1. Open DaVinci Resolve. 2. Importing a sub-clip imports its parent asset. Importing a collection or folder imports its contents. - Only file formats that DaVinci Resolve supports can be imported. - Edits are not sent back to Curator automatically. To add your finished media to Curator, export it from DaVinci Resolve into a Curator watch folder, or upload it with Curator Connect. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/c173e68f-0609-4297-9277-0fc5c6b45db7/Images/Documentation/installing-curator-for-davinci-resolve-image-ts92iv2x.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-29T06%3A25%3A29Z&se=2026-10-29T07%3A25%3A29Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=fuchhtXXXiKGKoP%2BRu5P5mfljORcd0hwFlYsDMR%2Fmnk%3D)
