By separating workspaces, users can maintain different sets of metadata fields tailored to specific requirements. Workspaces are based on sub-clips or media. Select a workspace from the **Logging view** drop-down menu shown below. Please note that this menu may not appear if you only have one workspace configured (default). ![The Logging view drop-down opened, showing the Logging View and Media view workspaces to choose from](https://cdn.document360.io/c173e68f-0609-4297-9277-0fc5c6b45db7/Images/Documentation/image%20%2849%29.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-06T17%3A27%3A57Z&se=2026-11-06T18%3A27%3A57Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=giDdEHIM30ZEaZ4i9MCxnO0ajHcpg6xN80m%2BcFUZK80%3D) For example, you might have a dedicated workspace for licensing or shoot location, where only the relevant metadata fields are displayed in their respective workspace. This approach ensures that only necessary metadata fields are shown, reducing clutter and simplifying the interface.
