Switching between workspaces allows loggers to either log directly on the parent asset or create subclips. By separating workspaces, users can maintain different sets of metadata fields tailored to specific requirements. Workspaces are differentiated based on subclip or media, which can be selected from the drop-down menu shown below. Please note that this menu may not appear if you only have one workspace configured (default).
For example, you might have a dedicated workspace for licensing or shoot location, where only the relevant metadata fields are displayed in their respective workspace. This approach ensures that only necessary metadata fields are shown, reducing clutter and simplifying the interface.
