# Setting up Curator Connect

After [Installing Curator Connect](/docs/installing-curator-connect), it needs to be configured so that your files are ingested into the correct environment for media asset management.

#### Windows and Mac

1. Open the Curator Connect Application.
2. You will be greeted with an error page:

1. Navigate to the top right of the application window and select the settings icon.
2. From the menu, select **Configuration**:

1. 2. Your System administrator will provide you with the correct address to submit here. Once you are happy with the details you have entered, select **Save**.
3. You will be navigated to a browser page to log in and validate your account ([Logging in](/docs/logging-in)). Once your login details have been entered, you’ll be advised in your browser that you have successfully logged in and can return to the Curator Connect application:
