You can also use search operators in the [Quick Search](/docs/quick-search) bar to refine your search. For example, you might want to search for assets with a title or metadata that includes the following: | Operator | Example description | Example search | | --- | --- | --- | | AND | Only assets that have both escalator and down in the title or metadata will be returned. | escalator **AND** down | | OR | Only assets that have either escalator or down in the title or metadata will be returned. | escalator **OR** down | | NOT | Only assets that have escalator but not down in the title or metadata will be returned. | escalator **NOT** down | | “ “ (speech marks) | Only assets that have the uninterrupted and separated text (string) Extreme Sports in full in the title or metadata will be returned. | "extreme sports" | | -(negative) | Only assets that contain 'Extreme Sport' but not 'Rock Climbing' in the title or metadata will be returned. | "Extreme Sport" **AND -**"Rock Climbing" | | * (wildcard) | Only assets with a word starting with 'educat' (for example education, educator, educational or educating) in the title or metadata will be returned. | educat* |
