Once your system administrator has configured it, the steps after the export are automatic: the reviewer is emailed, and when the reviewer sets the asset's Status in Logger, Curator moves the asset and emails the editor the result. Only sequences exported from Premiere Pro to a Review and Approve export destination (remote conform) enter the process. Your setup may differ This article describes Review and Approve in its most basic form. Most systems are tailored to the customer's requirements, so your folder names, review queues, statuses, metadata fields and emails may be different from those shown here. Your Curator administrator can tell you how Review and Approve is set up on your system. Administrators can find the reference configuration in [Configuring Review and Approve](/docs/configuring-review-and-approve). ## The Review and Approve process in summary ### 1. The editor sends a sequence for review 1. The editor exports a sequence from Premiere Pro with the Curator panel, choosing the Review and Approve export destination (for example **For Review**). See [Export a Sequence from Premiere Pro to Curator (Remote conform)](/docs/export-a-sequence-from-premiere-pro-to-curator-remote-conform) or [Batch export Sequences from Premiere Pro to Curator (Remote conform)](/docs/batch-export-sequences-from-premiere-pro-to-curator-remote-conform). 2. Curator renders and ingests the export into the review folder (for example **Library > Review and Approve > For Review**), sets its Status to **Ready for Review**, and records who exported it. ### 2. The reviewer is notified 1. The reviewer receives an email saying a new asset is ready for review. Only users with permission to the review folder can open it. ### 3. The reviewer reviews and decides 1. The reviewer opens the asset in Logger ([Logging explained](/docs/logging-an-asset)) and switches to the review logging view (for example **For Review**). 2. The reviewer adds notes and comments, then sets the Status in the Logger header to **Approved** or **Rejected**. ### 4. The result goes back to the editor 1. Curator moves the asset to the **Approved** or **Rejected** folder. 2. The editor who exported the sequence receives an email with the result and the reviewer's comments. For the reviewer's steps in detail, see [Review and approve an asset(s)](/docs/review-and-approve-an-assets).
