Users with folder permissions are able to move any type of folder or asset from one folder to another.

NOTE: Moving assets, folders, collections, productions and projects from one folder to another can affect availability of the assets to other users who may or may not have permissions and configurations already set up for any assets you choose to move.

Moving assets between folders

  1. In Clip Link, select the Folders panel as per Searching and viewing assets.

  2. Navigate to and select the folder or asset(s) that you wish to move in the asset pane.

    1. Consider adding asset(s) to a temporary collection to build up a list of assets you would like to move, in bulk.
  3. From the Folders panel, navigate to the folder you wish to move the asset(s) to.

  4. Select, hold and drag your folder or asset(s) from the asset pane to the new folder in the folders pane. You can see the folder path where the asset is currently located:

  5. Release the folder or asset into the selected folder.

  6. The folder or asset will now be located in the selected folder and the folder path will reflect the new location:
