# How to install Curator for DaVinci Resolve

Learn here how to install Curator for DaVinci Resolve on a Mac or Windows system. You **MUST** have a DaVinci Resolve Studio licence for the plugin to work.

Reference [Curator for DaVinci Resolve Compatibility Matrix](/v1/docs/curator-for-davinci-resolve-compatibility-matrix) to check compatibility against your operating system and DaVinci Resolve version.

> **Curator 4.4:** Curator for DaVinci Resolve 4.4 has been tested with DaVinci Resolve Studio 21.1. It should work with any DaVinci Resolve version that includes Node 22.15.1. Your administrator must set up Curator for DaVinci Resolve on the server first; see [Curator for DaVinci Resolve (Optional)](/docs/install-curator-for-davinci-resolve).

To install, obtain the relevant operating system installer file from the installation package (.msi, .pkg). The package should be supplied by your system administrator.

Run the installer and select the options as shown in the screenshots below.

Select **Next**.

Read and accept the end-user licence agreement, then select **Next**.

Select **Install**.

Select **Finish**.

Once you select Finish, open DaVinci Resolve (restart the application if you already had it open), then open the panel from:

`Workspace > Workflow Integrations > Curator for DaVinci Resolve`
