In your Adobe project, select the offline assets you want to connect. 2. In the [Adobe panel](/docs/adobe-panel-explained), select **Connect** (not the arrow beside it) to connect them using the default type set in [Import preferences](/docs/import-preferences): ![The Connect button highlighted in the Adobe panel toolbar](https://cdn.document360.io/c173e68f-0609-4297-9277-0fc5c6b45db7/Images/Documentation/Connect%201.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-05T19%3A48%3A13Z&se=2026-11-05T20%3A48%3A13Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=EmpMwMhvqYcrR0eqY6K1wt9lsr%2B1%2FI%2FS2HIDCfVsCnU%3D) To use a different type, select the arrow beside **Connect** instead, then choose **All** or **Selected** and **To Proxy** (lo-res) or **To Hi-Res**. To switch assets that are already connected, use **Swap to...** (see [Swap the asset stream between lo-res (proxy) and hi-res](/docs/swap-the-asset-stream-between-lo-res-proxy-and-hi-res)). ![The Connect drop-down with Selected expanded, showing To Proxy, To Hi-Res and Disconnect selected](https://cdn.document360.io/c173e68f-0609-4297-9277-0fc5c6b45db7/Images/Documentation/connect%202.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-05T19%3A48%3A13Z&se=2026-11-05T20%3A48%3A13Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=EmpMwMhvqYcrR0eqY6K1wt9lsr%2B1%2FI%2FS2HIDCfVsCnU%3D) 1. Once connected, your asset(s) will read and stream in your Adobe project.
