# Folders

All assets in Clip Link are stored within folders.

Using the Folders panel, you can view, search and filter assets from folders and folder paths.

NOTE: Only assets and folders that you have permission to see will be visible from this view.

#### Navigating folders

Using the [Folders panel](/docs/searching-for-assets) lets you navigate through the folders you have permission to view. When you select a folder in the Asset pane, the folder path you’ve navigated to will be displayed.

#### Filter by Asset Type and AI generated assets

From this view, you are able to filter your search by one of the following asset types:

- Video
- Audio
- Image
- Bookmark
- Sub clip
- Collection
- Folder

To include or hide assets from AI services, use the **Show AI generated assets** option in the **Filter by** panel.
