This article explains the different ways you can filter the assets shown in the asset pane, helping you view, manage, and work with your media more efficiently.
You can toggle the asset pane to display results filtered by metadata or by folder path and location using the Filters or Folders icons. The filter panel options for metadata can also be customised.
Filters can be applied individually or in conjunction with each other to refine your results, with or without using the search function.
Assets you don’t have permission to access will not appear in the filtered results.
Filter by asset type
All asset types will be displayed by default from the asset pane. You can select one or many asset types to filter the result in the asset pane whether you have submitted a search or not.
If you have submitted a search, you can also filter your search by one of the following asset types:
Video
Audio
Image
Bookmark
Sub clip
Collection
Folder
Filter by AI generated assets
Using the Show AI generated assets option, you can opt to filter assets that have been generated by AI or not.
Custom filters
Using the filter options, you can filter results by metadata. In Clip Link, you can create as few or as many custom filters as you need. These filters are based on custom metadata set up by your system administrator.
If you’d like to add or update filters, please contact your system administrator.
