Filters

Applications this article relates to: Curator Clip Link

Curator version supported from this article: 3.0

This article describes multiple ways in which you can filter what assets appear in the asset pane for you to view, manage and work with.

You can switch between reviewing the asset pane results to show assets only that have been filtered by Metadata or by folder path and location by selecting the Filters or Folders icon. You are also able to customise the filter panel options of metadata. In addition to this, you can use any of the filters individually, or in conjunction with each other to further enhance your filter, with or without searching.

Assets that you do not have permission to see will not appear in the asset pane from your filtered results.

Filter by asset type

All asset types will be displayed by default from the asset pane. You can select one or many asset types in order to filter the result in the asset pane whether you have submitted a search or not. If you have submitted a search, you can also filter your search by one of the following asset types:

  • Video
  • Audio
  • Image
  • Bookmark
  • Sub clip
  • Collection
  • Folder

Custom filters

As well as searching by metadata, you are able to filter by metadata. You may have as few or as many custom filters as you wish in Clip Link. These filters are designed from custom metadata by your system administrator. Please speak to your system administrator if you’d like them updated.
