Adobe Software and Curator software
The following are a list of supported Adobe software and operating system versions that Curator For Adobe is compatible with.
Microsoft Windows Operating systems, expected to work with Windows 10 and 11:
Adobe CC 2026

CFA 4.2 for Curator 4.2 | ||||||
CFA 4.1 for Curator 4.1 |
Main limitations in Adobe CC 2026 versions:
Premiere Pro - See Media Encoder note below for information on remote export compatibility.
Note: HEVC export is now manual-only. Adobe have disabled the ability to programmatically export HEVC material from version 25.6 onwards. HEVC export can now only be completed manually through Premiere Pro’s built-in Export menu.Media encoder - Adobe Media Encoder version 25.5 and all 26 versions introduce changes that impact remote export functionality. To maintain compatibility using these versions, you must install Workflows-Edit and Publish - Adobe-1.12.8.0.zip or later on all relevant systems.
We are aware of the following limitations and issues with Adobe Media Encoder 2026:
CUDA is currently not available as a selectable renderer, and GPU utilisation may be significantly reduced, resulting in slower than expected encoding performance.
You cannot use earlier main releases of Adobe Media Encoder with newer versions of Premiere Pro due to project format changes. Attempting to export from Adobe 2026 applications to older AME versions will result in failure, typically presenting the following error: “Unknown error occurred (Queue started but not running)”.
If the required workflow version cannot be installed, or these limitations are a blocker, consider remaining on Adobe Media Encoder version 25.5 or earlier.
Audition - New in the 4.2 release. Not compatible with earlier Curator versions.

CFA 3.4 HotFixes for Curator 3.6.8 to 3.6.10 |
Main limitations in Adobe CC 2025 versions:
Premiere Pro - use Premiere Pro v25.6 or newer (provided Workflows-Edit and Publish - Adobe-1.12.8.0.zip or later is installed on all relevant systems - see Media Encoder note for more information).
Note: HEVC export is manual-only from version 24.5 onwards. Adobe have disabled the ability to programmatically export HEVC material from this version. HEVC export can now only be completed manually through Premiere Pro’s built-in Export menu.
Do not use any 25.5 version as Adobe import is broken for these versions.
Do not use 25.0 as “Import to the bin” is not working in these versions due to a bug in the Adobe Premiere Pro API. Importing of sequences is not possible in 25.3 but is working in version 25.4.1 and newer. After Effects - use After Effects v25.1.0 or newer. Do not use 25.0 or 25.0.1 as “Import to the bin” is not working in this version due to a bug in the Adobe After Effects API.
