# Change my avatar

Your avatar is what identifies you visually to others in Curator amongst metadata and notifications.

#### How do I change my avatar

1. Access your [User profile](/docs/user-profile-explained)
2. Select the top avatar image above your username:

1. Select the avatar image from your system to upload, and select **Change Avatar**. Otherwise, select **Cancel**.

1. Your avatar will now be revised.
