Asset preview
You can preview an asset in the following ways:
1. From the asset pane, by selecting the asset and pressing spacebar:

When previewing an asset in this way, the following player controls are available:
Play / Pause
Audio volume control
Audio channel selection
Scrub bar
The preview monitor can be moved anywhere on the screen, so you can continue browsing the asset pane while previewing.
Selecting a different asset in the asset pane while preview is open will switch the preview to the newly selected asset.
You can also add the asset you are currently viewing in preview mode to the asset manager.
2. From the asset viewer, by hovering over it when viewing its entry in the Sub-clip or Collection panels

When you select an asset that contains child assets or is part of a collection, a simplified preview is available in the Sub-clip or Collection panels.
The preview player provides basic controls only:
Play / Pause
Mute
Three-dot menu for:
Selecting audio channel
Turning loop playback on or off
Any settings you change only apply to the currently active preview.
The preview is intentionally simple and does not replace the full asset viewer.
Asset preview metadata preferences
Asset preview shows up to five metadata of the asset, including Duration and Created date time. You can opt to specify which metadata are displayed by default in asset preview mode by clicking on the settings cog and selecting Preferences.

From here, you can select up to five metadata you wish to appear by default by selecting metadata to display from the drop-down list.

You are able to reorder the selected metadata by clicking and dragging on them, or remove them by clicking on the green remove icon to the right of each metadata listed.
To open the asset with full Asset viewer functionality, select View.
