Asset pane thumbnail views

The Asset Pane is where the asset thumbnails are displayed for selection to view the asset. The results of your asset library including any searches, filters and folder path navigations. You are able to tailor how you view the results.

If an asset has an alpha channel then then background of the thumbnail will appear as checkered. File formats include .mogrt, png, and tiff.

  1. Resize the thumbnails in view

Example between largest and smallest:

  1. Switch between Grid view and Column view (list view).
  2. Sort asset by (metadata)
  • Select a metadata tag to sort the asset results by.
  • The default metadata the assets are displayed and sorted by is ‘Relevance.
  • Scroll to find the metadata tag you want to sort by, or type in the name of the metadata tag to filter the list of metadata tags available

Metadata tags can be organised in Ascending or descending order by selecting the arrow to the right of this option.
4. View metadata for the selected asset - clicking this option with an asset (or assets) selected will expand a tab displaying metadata for that asset (or assets).

Column view (list view)

Customize what columns of metadata you would like to see per asset in Column/List view.

  • Review what columns are active

  • Review what metadata you’ve recently selected for column view, but not currently in use.

  • Review all Metadata available for you to add to your column views

  • Asset type
  • Name
  • Thumbnail
  • Description

In column list view -

  • You have the ability to drag and reorder the columns from left to right and right to left.
  • You have the ability to select any column to assign that column as the metadata to sort the list by.
  • Selecting a column title will assign that column as the metadata to sort the list by
  • Continue to select a column title will enable the list of results to either ascending or descending order of the column metadata.
